Architecture In Learning Spaces
Children live in cities, buildings and schools, designed by adults.
What if they had the chance to
design
their own environment ?

What is ArchPed ?

ArchPed is a platform dedicated to exploring the intersection of 'architecture' and 'pedagogy', focusing on designing learning spaces that foster creativity, curiosity, and engagement for children. Through workshops, research, and innovative design projects, we aim to create environments that enhance children's educational experiences and inspire them to think spatially. ArchPed focuses on, creating more productive environments by considering children's interests in their learning space, where designers engage directly with users. From classrooms to outdoor play areas, we examine how architecture can support learning spaces; encourage exploration, efficiency to learn and foster a sense of belonging. Through architecture workshops with children, we understand users needs and preferences to shape their ideal learning spaces. At ArchPed, we are committed to reimagining learning spaces to better serve the needs of future generations.
